Week 8 Reflection

In week 8 of EDET class, we looked at micro soft word and spreed sheet.We looked at how we can use both programms in our classes. As a teacher I can use the spreed sheet to record my grades and micro soft word to type up my lesson plans and even assessements. The students can use microsoft word to complete any projects given by their teacher.

Week 7 Reflection

The Assure Model Lesson Plan was one that I have never seen before. Its an interesting different way of planning a lesson for your class.

Reflection on week 6

This week for technology in education, was exciting. We had a special guest by the name of Mrs. Green who came and spoke to us on PODCAST and how we could incorporate it in our class. Podcast broken down is Portable On Demand This programm is like a radio where you can tape your voice doing all kinds pf things like singing, reading etc. This was quite amazing to me because I will be able to incorporate it in the classroom making a lesson more interesting and using it as a medium to inform students about things that will be coming up in the school year. Exciting can't wait to try it out in one of my lessons when I get back into the classroom.

Reflection on week 5

For this week of technology in education, we learnt about dropbox. This is a programm that can be used to save documents, pictures even personal files, but in order to use this programm one must have the internet.

Keep trying

As difficult as its been, it's really good to see that your blog is well on its way. Try to keep on top of your blogging as much as possible so that your not left behind........... and remember to finish those reflections

Hi Chantal I know that sometimes educational technology might seem difficult but we will not give up we will try our best to follow and practice. keep on practicing and I know you will eventually get it don't give up just keep on trying, we will both keep trying.

You'll get there :) i hope that for your 3rd reflection you'll have a clearer understanding of the course and would be able to share something you've learned with us.

Week 1 Reflection

For the first week of technology class, we met our Lecturer and learned a little about my classmates. We even learned that Educational technology, is the study and ethical practice of facilitating e-learning, which is the learning and improving performance by creating, using and managing appropriate technological processes and resources.

Week 2 Reflection

For this week of technology class, it was quite informative about the learning styles of persons. I even found out after doing a questionnaire that I read and write for my type of learning. Click on the following link to test your learning style. This video is about learning. Do enjoy.
